What can a single dad with bad credit do to obtain a $5000 loan ?
I am a single dad that is in desperate need of a personal loan. However due to my credit score i am not able to obtain a loan. I do have a good job that pays well, but I got behind on a couple bills this month due to me having to be out of work for medical reasons. I can pay loan back in as little 6 months @ 10% interest.

If you have good job paying well. It should not be a problem to get personal loan. May be the cheaper and faster way is the policy loan if you have an insurance policy or get the bank/creditors to re-structure your loan/bills….
I’m in the same boat, but i only need 3 grand, do you mind If I piggyback to see what answers you get? I’m pretty desperate!

I really sympathise with you on medical ground. However, you know and you’ve agreed that you have a bad credit score already.
Do not compound your problem, find a way out of the trouble you are instead of looking for things that will increase your blood pressure.
$5000!!! FOR WHAT? Please, think deeply about what you really need this money for before you commit your life into raising it. If the investment will return itself with profit, then follow this steps.
1. Prepare a proposal or a feasibility study on what you need the money for and stating the profit expected in the short term say 6 Months time
2. Send this proposal to friends and associates who will appreciate what you have to offer and who may likely fund the business.
3. Outrightly seek for the help of friends, relations or associates for help instead of going into all the above trouble.
4. Better still, you may just decide to raise the money by yourself by converting your extra assets (those things of value that you do not currently need or use) into cash to solve your proble. eg car, electronics, shares etc
Every problem has its expiry date, be cool and calm. The problem will soon pass you by; its a passing phase and Iam sure you are bigger than that problem.
Sleep and relax your head, heaven will not fall.
