		<description>I don&#039;t think leaders ignore it, but there&#039;s not a whole lot they can do about the problem.  It comes down to the families themselves and unfortunately, many black families don&#039;t stress education.  My parents did, but on the flip side there were a lot of black kids at my school who felt being cool was more important.</description>

		<description>I am not an African American but I know many black people who do well and better than white kids.I am black and I know I do better than some of my white classmates. I don&#039;t let statistics get me down! In the UK we have the same kind of statistics and it makes people think all black kids are dumb.</description>
