How can a teen stuck at home make money on weekends/holidays?
I pretty much have been staying home every weekend and most days of school holidays stuck at home looking after my autistic brother since grade 3 due to my parents long hours and changing days off.
Anyway I just realised that I havn’t brought anything for myself in…ages. My only source of income is when my grandparents, who feel sorry for me being cooped up indoors, give me something, usually for good reports (which I try not to accept, but my grandmother said it makes my grandfather happy so…eh) and Birthday/Xmas money from family (usually goes to bank for…idk happy future?).
Anyway, is there anyway I can make money despite basically being stuck indoors (or limited where to go/what to do, I sometimes take my brother out to shops). I can’t really get a part time job (nobody would hire a teen whose working days would change every single week, due to my parents days off changing). Please help, I know I might sound a little materialistic…but who doesn’t want to earn something?

Aw!! You sound like such a GREAT brother!!
Here are a few ideas:
1) Do chores around the house for some extra $
Bike wash
2) Water Plants for parents/neighbors
3) Walk/Care for pets
4) Have a garage sale/ebay off things you don’t need
5) Make crafts or do something you’re good at to sell(idk…as a guy..idk)
6) My neighbor hired me once to clean up dog poo from her yard after I got home from school and before she got home from work because there was a 1 hour gap and her dogs would eat it. I would sometimes feed/water them
7) Pet bath
9)Paint for someone
10) Cook for someone…idk
11) Babysit
12) Teach music/something lessons
Oh and NO you don’t sound materialistic!!! You deserve extra moolah!! Just try and ask around see what you can do that doesn’t require regular commitment.
Well your best option would be to find something online. Just Be careful A lot of things on the internet are Bogus and filled with empty promises. Trust me stay away from the paid survey stuff. Now I did find Something which I thought was pretty easy, but it Does take time. What I loved about it was that It has Video Training walking you step by step. You should really check it out it seems to be working for me it could just work for you as it did for me.
