single parents dating Archives

The fall season is a great time for dating. There are so many fun and festive things you can do. The weather is almost perfect in most areas, as it’s still very nice outdoors; not too hot and not too cold. Taking advantage of the beautiful fall season for dating lends itself to some great ideas for first dates for singles.

1) You can have a lot of fun getting to know each other (and acting like children again) by going to a pumpkin patch and choosing a pumpkin. If they have a corn maze there, it would be great fun to partake in that as well.

2) Go to a wine tasting or a wine festival with your date. You’ll learn a lot of their likes and dislikes as you taste the wines. The wine may even take some pressure off the date. Just don’t drink too much!

3) Attend Oktoberfest festivities in your area. They are a lot of fun and you will have a blast if you partake in the dancing too.

4) The park provides a great backdrop for a good nature date by going and exploring all the different colored leaves.

5) Check out and visit one of the haunted houses in your area. They can be a lot of fun and you will have someone to hold onto as you take your tour through. You will have many laughs about your adventure through, but probably not until you exit.

6) A bonfire is a great, laid back way to get to know someone and cozy up.

7) Hayrides can be a lot of fun, especially if they are through some haunted woods. Grab your hot chocolate and apple cider.

Whichever date you choose as your first day this fall, make sure you choose something that both you and your date will enjoy and give you plenty of opportunity to get to know one another. Always practice safe dating tips.

First dates are great no matter what the season, but finding that first date first is the first step and can be a daunting task especially if you are trying to do single parents dating. Many special websites can help you search for that special person including a single parents dating site.

I am a single mother of 3 and I am 30. My ex fiance, as of last night, is a father of 2. His girls are teenagers, my kids are 7, 4, and 2. He left because I told him that if his 16 year old was going to live with me then she would talk to me and my children in a respectful manner. That she had no business bossing my children around, I am there mother. And I mean, this girl is very disrespectful, she went up to the jewelry counter after I purposely lost her to buy his engagement ring on fathers day, and asked how much it costed just as an example. She is just rude constantly. Anyhow, I love him, but he left me, but, was I wrong? Also, I said that it is not healthy for her to lock herself up in her room constantly. And I don’t think it is. I think he should be a father to her. The girl never smiles. I don’t know, was I wrong for demanding that? That she speak to me in a respectful manner? Is that to much to ask?

I have a friend who is a single mom to three boys all under the age of 10. In the last 2 years she has dated 4 men who she fell in love with quickly and made them part of her children’s lives. The boys bonded to each one and then suffered when the relationships ended. I was wondering if there are any good studies or books on the long-term effects of this pattern on the children.

I recently got involved with a single father who has 2 children from previous marriage. One boy 7 one boy 5 years old.
He said he loves me and we get along well (been dating for 8 months already).
I have a girl 3 years old from previous relationship (never got married)
This guy told me he would prefer to date one on one with no kids. But he always bring his two sons along, and when I bring my daughter, He got upset. He totally ignored my daughter.
Finally, I confronted him, he told me honestly “well, I just don’t think I can deal with other men’s kid.” I am furious. I told him “If you cannot accept my daughter, don’t expect me to be in the picture.” He apologized to me and told me he would do a better job.
But I am very discouraged now. Should I give him another chance? or should I call it quits already.

if so, if they were in the shoes of single people with no baggage, would they even think of dating single parents and divorcees?
